Khote Sikkay vs Angels & Demons

Whosoever would have wished “Ashutosh“ , Happy Children’s Day would have realised by now that, “A child is the father of man“. Though, Angels & Demons won the match against Khote Sikke, Ashutosh's innings almost saw them through. A belligerent 61 of 34 balls against an arguably best bowling attack of MCL was no mean feat. Another Gold coin, Nijhawan once again was steady & indefatigable. Playing with almost one eye after getting hit by a bounder (which flew abruptly), Nijhawan ensured that Khote Sikke were always in the hunt. Even Abhinav Krishna gave a whiff of “nerves & bat of steel“ by his temperament & stroke making.

The spectators were on the edge of their seats when Khote Sikke needed 32 runs from 4 overs to seal a win. But, sensible bowling by Dilip & a cool Neeraj made sure that Khote Sikkay don’t spring up a surprise. Beforehand, Neeraj played a calculated innings of 30 runs which was well supported by Dilip & shakey at the end. The batting order changes worked well for Angels & Demons with even Tiwari making most of the opportunity he got, by batting up the order.

Sujai and Taneja took shotpots at each other, keeping spectators engaged while Warey also got a game today in the absence of Kunj. Ashvin was very unlucky as he clean bowled players on a no-ball, catches were dropped like Manna from heaven, misfields done like singles from Manas’s bat.

Angels & Demons might have registered a win, but the dropped catches would surely have lead to a bad taste in their mouth. Manager Maadu(ritika Gupta) was furious & surely would like to make amends. It was an ideal eye opener for the team before an important match against Inglorious Bastards.

Similarly, Khote Sikke would go into their next match with their heads held high. They probably need a bit of luck to ride into the Semi Finals.
